Termite Inspection & Extermination
Champion Pest Management offers Termite Service Plans to help protect your home or office. With both plans, our certified, licensed, and insured technician will complete a free thorough inspection. Upon inspection, the technician will draw up a contract proposal for a Treatment Service Plan. All termite treatment proposals will include a detailed graph of your property where termite damage that is discovered upon inspection will be documented along with any areas conducive for termites such as high moisture content in wood or wood in contact with the soil.

Why Do You Worry About Termites?
Your home is 10 times more likely to be destroyed by termites than by fire. Each year, termites will do over $5 billion in damage by infesting 1 in every 30 homes. South Carolina is located in TIP (Termite Infestation Probability) Zone #1 which means our potential for termite damage is considered significant. Charleston, SC is an area of extreme high risk. Both subterranean and drywood termites are known to damage homes in South Carolina. In particular Formosan termites, a subterranean termite, were first discovered in the continental U.S. in Charleston in the 1950s, and according to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Americans spend more than $1 billion annually to repair property damage caused by termites. |
How Does Champion Pest Management Take Care of Your Home?
Today’s termiticide market is full of potential termite treatment methods for termite protection. We are Termidor certified professionals at Champion Pest Management, and we have found this treatment option to be the most effective in protecting your home or office. A typical termite treatment involves digging a trench along the exterior foundation wall of your structure, filling it with Termidor, replacing the soil and finally treating the top. We will drill through attached slabs, driveways, stoops, steps, carports, and other concrete that may be against the foundation. If it is a crawl space foundation, the piers, plumbing, tie downs and other areas of the crawl space where termites may try to enter the structure will be treated by trenching the soil around these areas and treating the soil. This termite treatment creates an effective barrier, killing any termites that come in contact with it. All visible and accessible termite shelter tubes will be removed. |
